Who is Zoe?

Born in Shanghai and raised in Toronto, I am currently based in London, having completed my undergraduate studies in the city.

I have two names: Zoe and Yizhu (一竹). You can call me whichever. It's chill. 

​

Painting is a big part of my art practice. On top of the painting I do in my own time, I was also active in both the UCL Art Society as the Head of Painting, and the Sciences Po Artists' Collective as a painter. 

 

People in my life have described my art as 'dark, intense, and moody' ...maybe because I really like using dark blue and black. I'll let you be the judge.
